Christmas Lane

Now that I’m a mom, the holidays have never been so magical. There’s nothing like hearing your child’s excited squeals and seeing their face light up when they see a giant lit-up tree. As a young child, my family lived on a military base in England and funds were pretty tight. While I had an amazing childhood, we didn’t get to go to these extravagant Christmas events and parades. Attending all these Christmas events as an adult gives me the same excitement (and embarrassingly maybe even more) as my two-year-old daughter. I even squeal and gush overseeing a giant nativity and life-size teddy bear.

December 1, 2018, we went to Christmas Lane and saw Christmas trees of all shapes and sizes, Santa, elves, and a man balancing on a giant red ball while juggling! It was seriously epic. You could enjoy rides and food, and there were numerous backdrops where you could take family photos. We even got to take a picture with *according to my toddler* SNOWY, which to the rest of the world is known as Frosty the snowman.

It’s loud enough in the event space where you don’t have to worry if your child is having a tantrum because no one cares! So bring your tribe and have fun.

I’m so excited to share all the fun activities we do this year! How amazing is social media these days?! We literally get to document these amazing moments in our lives in such a cool way. Cheers to new memories that will last a lifetime. I can’t wait to look back on these moments one day. I hope you have an amazing holiday season, and remember that it’s what you make it. If you want to have an amazing holiday, then speak it out loud and make it happen!
